BROOKS STREET SURF CONTEST

The Foundation is also in talks with Brooks Street Surfing Classic event organizers to establish new trophies for the event winners beginning in the 2020 event. The Brooks Street Surf Competition is recognized as one of the oldest two surf competitions in the world and important for making Laguna Beach an international surf destination. 

BROOKS STREET - A Goofy Footers Paradise

​

Any conversation about Brooks Street starts and ends with surfing. The beach is home to the most famous (and arguably best) high-performance wave in the city. Goofy-footed surfers will particularly love the left at Brooks, which breaks over a few different rock reefs, depending on the swell direction and size. Note that this isn’t a wave for beginners and on big days it’s expert surfers only.
